These Terms govern your use of the Academy of Crypto Security (“ACS”, “we”, “us”). By enrolling in a program you agree to them in full. Read them carefully — they describe how payment, certification, and refunds work.
1. Enrolment
Enrolment is complete when we receive on-chain confirmation of your Bitcoin payment for the selected program. Your receipt page is preliminary proof; a formal tax invoice is issued by email once the transaction has reached six confirmations on the Bitcoin network.
2. Payment
All tuition is quoted in EUR and paid in BTC at the prevailing rate shown at checkout. Small variances (up to 1%) between the displayed amount and the amount received on-chain are accepted automatically. Larger discrepancies are reviewed manually within one business day — contact us with the txid to resolve.
3. Refunds
Before the first week of a program begins, you may request a full refund, issued in the same BTC amount you paid, minus the Bitcoin network fee. After the first week, a pro-rated refund may be issued based on content not yet consumed. Refunds are at our reasonable discretion.
4. Certification
Each program concludes with a practitioner-reviewed capstone. Passing the capstone grants a signed, verifiable credential. Failing students may resubmit once without additional fee.
5. Acceptable use
Course materials are licensed to you for personal study. You may not redistribute, resell, or publish them. You are responsible for the lawful use of any techniques taught in the curriculum — in particular, the Advanced Crypto Forensics program covers methods that must only be applied within the scope of lawful investigation.
6. Disclaimer
Programs are educational. They are not financial, legal, or security advice for a specific situation. We provide no warranty that a program will prevent any particular incident.
7. Changes
We may update these Terms. The “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be announced to active students by email.
